The Alameda County Transportation Authority and the Alameda County Transportation Improvement Authority are implementing two voter approved half-cent transportation sales tax measures. The mission of both agencies is to deliver projects and programs as promised to voters in the two approved Expenditure Plans. ACTA and ACTIA continually provide the taxpayers of Alameda County with quality project, program and administrative services.
What's New 
Transportation Forum in South County
ACTIA in conjunction with its Citizens Advisory Committee will host a forum featuring presentations on major transportation projects and programs that will be implemented within the next five years. The forum will include the following presentations:
- BART - Warm Springs Extension
- Union City Intermodal Station
- I-680 Express Lane
- Dumbarton Corridor Improvements
- I-880 Mission Blvd. (Route 262) Interchange Reconstruction and Freeway Widening to the County Line
- East-West Connector Project in Fremont and Union City
- City of Fremont Paratransit Program
The forum will be held on July 17, 2008, at the Fremont Main Library, 2400 Stevenson Blvd. The library is located 1/4 mile from the Fremont BART Station and is served by AC Transit Bus lines 214, 235, and 329. Open House is at 6:30 PM and Formal Presentations at 7:00 PM.

BIDS ARE NOW CLOSED. Bids shall be received at the office of the San Leandro City Clerk, located at City Hall, 835 East 14th Street, 2nd Floor, San Leandro, CA, no later than 3:00 PM PST on Tuesday, June 24, 2008, after which time bids will be publicly opened and read. A pre-bid conference was held at 2:00 PM PST on Thursday, June 5, 2008, in the Sister Cities Gallery, 1st Floor, City Hall, 835 East 14th Street, San Leandro, CA.
