Project Description:

Altamont Commuter Express (ACE) began operation in October 1998 and runs between the City of Stockton and the San Jose Diridon Caltrain Station, with four stops in Alameda County. This project consists of station improvements; track and siding improvements; signal system upgrades; a new maintenance facility; the purchase of additional rolling stock; and other improvements.
